UIC is delighted to invite you to its 2nd Global FRMCS Conference, which will be held from 7 – 8 June 2023 at the UIC headquarters in Paris.

The UIC FRMCS Programme is currently entering a new and crucial phase of development with the harmonisation of radio frequencies for railways in Europe, the finalisation of the FRMCS V1 specifications, and the delivery of the first FRMCS product prototypes. The main achievements in the domain will therefore be reviewed at the conference, with presentations given on the programme’s next steps for the near future.

Over 200 participants from all around the world and from telecom and signalling domains, regulation authorities and standardisation bodies, railway infrastructure managers and railway undertakings, as well as industry leaders and manufacturers, are expected to attend the conference.

The event has been made possible thanks to the support of our gold sponsors: viavisolutions, Funkwerk, Kontron Transportation GmbH, Nokia, and Frequentis.

Conference highlights include:

7 June - 09:30 to 18:00

  • Opening speeches
  • Railway FRMCS plans
  • Industry engagement
  • Looking to the future
