A Memorandum of Cooperation worth 68.4 billion Kazakhstani tenge was signed between JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) and the Akimats of Akmola, Almaty, Aktobe, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Kostanai, Karaganda, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions.
These documents were signed as part of the implementation of the “Action Plan on measures to support the industrial enterprises in 2015”, approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in January 2015.
The Memorandum of Cooperation also focused on the implementation of large-scale state measures for future economic development, an increase in the proportion of local content in industries and providing employment.
Signing the Memorandum will implement a number of joint innovation projects in the field of railway engineering, ensure the development of the company’s production capacity and support domestic producers.
In the near future JSC NC KTZ plans to sign a document on cooperation with manufacturing companies in Astana.
