The “Gautrain” in Johannesburg will enter into service three days before the World Cup kickoff. This will be the first regional express train to operate in the country. It will provide a link between the airport and Sandton, the hotel and restaurant district of Johannesburg, but will not provide transport to the Stadium. In order to attend matches, a bus service network is being organised by the local authorities.
