For the first time, this September, UIC will host two specialised training modules at its headquarters in Paris.
Both sessions will be conducted in French:
- Human and Organisational Factors: a Strong Safety Pillar on 22–23 September
- Creating a Successful Safety Culture in a Railway Organisation on 24–25 September
These two-day modules are designed for railway professionals aiming to strengthen their understanding of human and organisational factors and enhance their approach to safety culture.
Human and organisational factors: A strong safety pillar
This module equips participants with the knowledge and practical tools to integrate human and organisational factors (HOF) into safety management systems. It combines interactive presentations, case studies, group exercises and debates to highlight the role that individuals, teams, and organisations play in building robust safety practices.
Creating a successful safety culture in a railway organisation
The second module focuses on the key attributes of a successful safety culture and their impact on employee behaviours and attitudes. Participants will examine the organisational, technical and human dimensions of safety culture through interactive sessions, case studies, and discussions.
