Digital Rail 2022 will bring together industry experts and thought leaders to discuss and share insights across a range of topics, including improving organisational management and productivity, rolling stock, infrastructure, train control, communications, signalling, sustainability, rail freight, passenger experiences, cyber-security, big data/open data/IoT, industry collaboration/regulations, as well as much more.

François Davenne, Simon Fletcher and Christian Chavanel from UIC have all been confirmed as speakers at Global Railway Review’s Digital Rail 2022 event, taking place on 7 & 8 November at Twickenham Stadium in London, UK.

With a conference agenda designed to address some of the key challenges and what’s next in rail’s digital transformation, our speakers will be attending the event in-person to join in the discussions and give insight into industry developments.

Simon Fletcher, Director Europe & Chief Standardisation Officer, will be Digital Rail’s Chairman for both days of the event, using his industry knowledge to guide proceedings and ask speakers and delegates the most pressing questions.

François Davenne, Director General, will give a keynote presentation on 8 November to address some of the successes, trends, and challenges to be considered as rail transportation continues its journey in a digital era.

Christian Chavanel, Director, Rail System Department, will join a panel discussion on 8 November which will explore how digitalisation can maximise rolling stock asset maintenance/management.
